Political Consensus in Commemorating Raisi Indicates His Non-hatred Style of Political Practice: GPTT Co-founder

An interview with India Today news magazine

In an interview with India Today news magazine on May 28, Dr. Seyed Emamian, GPTT co-founder discussed the aftermath of the loss of Iranian president, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash on May 19. He maintained that President Raisi was a “moral politician,” whose nonhatred style of political practice brought about a political consensus in his commemoration. He considered bringing up the issue of the Supreme Leader’s succession at the same time as the presidential election is a “deviant and irrelevant” point. According to him, not causing disruptions in security, politics, and management of the country’s affairs is a sign of the stability and resilience of Iran’s political structure.
