The Supreme Welfare Council convened in the Shahid Beheshti Hall of the Presidential Institution, attended by President Dr. Pezeshkian and a group of researchers from think tanks involved in the “Justice Movement” research series. representative of the Governance and Policy Think Tank (GPTT) was also represented at the meeting.
During the session, the President underscored the importance of effective policymaking in the realm of justice, highlighting the necessity of accurately measuring indicators and validating statistical data as essential prerequisites for sound decision-making.
In the “Justice Movement” research series, conducted by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare in collaboration with various think tanks, GPTT has concentrated on the issue of justice in taxation and is proposing recommendations to enhance fairness in this critical area.
